Jaber Ramezani is a playwright, director and film maker based in Tehran, Iran. He has a BA in Dramatic Literature from Sooreh University, Tehran and MA in Directing at Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran.

In 2009, he co-founded The Hole in the Wall Theatre company with two other fellow writers aiming at creating new contemporary plays for Iranian audience. The company soon entered into theatre and film production, and has been performing on Iranian and international stage ever since.

Jaber directs and writes for stage and screen, and also investigates contemporary forms and experiments with new content as dramaturge. His plays have been performed in different countries, and films based on his scripts have been selected by international festivals such as: ITSELF International Festival (Warsaw), George Town Festival (Malaysia), Fadjr International Festival (Tehran), Roma International theater Festival (Italy) Venice Open Stage international Theater Festival (Italy) Tehran International short Film Festival (Tehran), SkenaUp International Film And Theater Festival (Cosovo).

Among his works; A New Play (2010, Tehran, director) Swim Team (2012, writer and director) Sketch (2013, writer and director) Slow Sound of Snow (2014, co-writer and Director), The Hole (2016, writer and director) We Cannot Talk About It (2017, director), Black Hair of The Wounded Bear (2018, co-writer and director), and Exterior Wash (2015) a short film which premiered at 14th Dhaka International Short Film Festival 2015.

Jaber Ramezani and Hole in the Wall theatre group performed in George Town in 2016 (Slow Sound of Snow) and 2018 (We Cannot Talk About It), to rave reviews.
